Los Angeles, California – Rian Johnson is set to expand his already star-studded cast for the next installment in the Knives Out franchise. Mila Kunis has now joined the ensemble, which includes Daniel Craig, in Netflix’s upcoming Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery. Other new additions to the cast include Josh O’Connor, Kerry Washington, Jeremy Renner, Glen Close, Cailee Spaeny, and Andrew Scott. Johnson will return as director and has penned the script for this latest installment.
While plot details remain undisclosed, the previous film in the series, Glass Onion, debuted in 2022 with Craig reprising his role as Blanc. Netflix secured a monumental $450 million deal for two sequels, with Wake Up Dead Man being the third movie in the franchise.
Known for its star-studded ensembles, the Knives Out series continues to attract A-list talent. Production for the new film is scheduled to begin next month, with Netflix aiming for a 2025 release date.
