**Milwaukee Man Charged with Homicide and Mutilating Corpse: Family of Missing 19-Year-Old Seeks Justice**

Milwaukee, Wisconsin – A man from Milwaukee faces homicide and mutilation charges after a severed leg, believed to belong to a missing 19-year-old woman, was discovered earlier this month. Maxwell Anderson, 33, was charged on Friday morning in connection with the case. Authorities revealed that Anderson was a person of interest in the disappearance of Sade Robinson and was taken into custody last week.

The severed leg, found on April 2, has been tentatively identified as belonging to Robinson, as confirmed by Milwaukee County Sheriff Denita Ball during a news conference. Additionally, human remains were found on April 5 and April 6 in three different locations, including near railroad tracks, but their identification is still pending, according to Milwaukee Police Chief Jeffrey Norman.

“This is a tragic event,” stated Chief Norman, expressing condolences and support to the Robinson family on behalf of the departments involved. Anderson has been charged with first-degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse, and arson of property other than a building by the district attorney’s office.

Authorities had requested public assistance in locating Robinson, who was last seen on April 1 and considered a critically missing person, on April 3. Anderson became a person of interest on April 4, two days after the leg’s discovery, and was apprehended after a traffic stop, disclosed Sheriff Ball. Although a search was conducted at his residence, officials refrained from disclosing any findings as of Friday.

Investigators suspect that Robinson and Anderson may have crossed paths at Anderson’s workplace, though this has yet to be confirmed. The search for Robinson’s remains is ongoing, with law enforcement continuing their efforts unassisted by any leads suggesting the involvement of other individuals, according to Sheriff Ball.

Anderson’s attorney has not responded to requests for comments as of late Friday, while records from court and jail illustrate that he remains in custody on a $5 million bond. “This is justice for Sade,” remarked Robinson’s mother, Sheena Scarbrough, with family members resolved to continue searching for the missing woman’s remains.
