ST. PAUL, Minn. — Food enthusiasts are in for a treat as the Minnesota State Fair unveils its lineup of new food and beverage offerings for 2024. The fair is set to feature a variety of unique dishes and drinks from six new vendors, catering to the diverse tastes of fairgoers.

Among the highlights are deep-fried ranch dressing from LuLu’s Public House, ham and pickle roll-ups on a potato skin from Route 66 Roadhouse Chicken, walking shepherd’s pie from O’Gara’s, and a Swedish ice cream sundae from Salem Lutheran Church Dining Hall. These new additions promise to tantalize taste buds and provide a memorable culinary experience for attendees.

In addition to the traditional fair fare, attendees can look forward to innovative creations such as Loon Lake’s Iced Tea Cotton Candy, which features brewed butterfly pea flower tea sweetened with natural flavors and cane sugar, garnished with edible glitter, and a rock candy swizzle stick for a mesmerizing color-changing effect. Union Hmong Kitchen will offer Grilled Purple Sticky Rice topped with choice of shredded Hmong beef jerky or pickled mushrooms, fresh herbs, and Krunchy Chili Aioli, while The Blue Barn presents PB Bacon Cakes – thick-cut bacon dipped in pancake batter and topped with peanut butter whipped cream, grape jelly, and banana chips.
