Logansport, Indiana – After more than two weeks, 14-year-old Bryson Muir, the son of a former Indianapolis Colts player, has been located. His parents are now in custody, and several others have been detained in Cass County as part of the investigation.
In the search for the teenager, Indiana State Police conducted a massive operation at a compound in Logansport. The property, owned by the Servant Leader’s Foundation, a non-profit religious group, was swarmed by three SWAT teams, detectives, K9 units, and a bomb squad, as authorities executed search warrants on multiple buildings.
Prior to his discovery, Bryson was last seen on June 16, sparking concerns from his grandmother Cheryl Wright about possible abuse at the hands of his father, a former Colts defensive lineman. Wright had alerted law enforcement after finding the teenager with visible injuries, including a black eye.
The investigation took a turn when Bryson’s parents, Daniel and Kristen Muir, failed to appear in court as scheduled, prompting Indiana State Police to intensify efforts to locate the missing teen. Despite finding Kristen Muir and their vehicle, Bryson was not found inside, leading officials to suspect that he had been transferred to another vehicle.
Concerns about Bryson being influenced or “brainwashed” by his parents and their religious group have been raised, with Wright expressing fears that her grandson was unable to break away from their control. The secretive property in Logansport, registered under the Servant Leader’s Foundation, is linked to a religious group called Straitway Ministries, with signs welcoming visitors to “Straitway Indiana Goshen.”
The case took a concerning turn when Bryson’s parents initially agreed to cooperate with investigators but later backed out of a meeting, prompting the issuance of a statewide Silver Alert for the missing teen. Despite ongoing efforts to locate Bryson, authorities urge anyone with information to come forward to assist in the investigation.
As the search for answers continues, the community remains on edge, hoping for a swift resolution and the safe return of Bryson Muir.
