SHEPHERDSVILLE, KY – A tragic incident unfolded in Shepardsville, Kentucky on Wednesday morning when a mother allegedly shot her two young children, resulting in their deaths, according to local law enforcement.
The Bullitt County Sheriff’s Office reported that deputies were dispatched to a residential address shortly after 11:00 a.m. following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered two children, aged six and nine, suffering from gunshot wounds.
Emergency services rushed the children to a nearby hospital in critical condition. Despite the best efforts of the medical team, the children eventually succumbed to their injuries.
The mother of the children, Tiffani Lucas, 32, was subsequently arrested and charged with two counts of murder. Details surrounding the circumstances of the shooting remain undisclosed at this time.
