Multiple suspects smash a stolen car into a gun store and rob it

CAMARILLO, CA – In a bold pre-dawn heist, burglars rammed a stolen car into a gun store in Camarillo, making off with an unknown number of firearms. The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office reported the incident occurred early Monday morning at the Camarillo Gun Store on Ventura Blvd.

Deputies arriving at the scene found a blue Kia sedan embedded in the storefront, surrounded by shattered glass. The car had been stolen just hours before the break-in, authorities confirmed. The burglars used the vehicle to gain entry to the store, then smashed several display cases to seize the firearms.

Investigators believe a second vehicle was used to facilitate the burglars’ escape. Despite a swift response from law enforcement, no suspects have been apprehended, and the exact number of stolen guns remains undetermined as the store’s inventory is still being assessed.

The incident has raised concerns about the security of firearm retailers and the potential for stolen guns to be used in further criminal activity. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward as the investigation continues.

This brazen burglary is the latest in a series of similar crimes targeting gun stores, prompting calls for increased security measures and better tracking of stolen vehicles. The community remains on edge as law enforcement works to track down the culprits and recover the stolen firearms.
