According to Dominic Albanese, third assistant chief for the Deer Park Volunteer Fire Department, the driver reportedly drove through the building, causing significant damage. The impact led to the deaths of four people at the scene, with nine others rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment. One of the injured victims had to be airlifted by helicopter for immediate medical attention.

While the driver was among those taken to hospitals, the conditions of the injured individuals remain unknown. The identities of those who lost their lives in the crash have not been disclosed yet. Emergency responders and firefighters worked diligently to manage the aftermath, with the minivan deeply lodged in the salon.

Virginia Garcia, a relative of one of the injured victims, expressed the emotional turmoil experienced by her niece, who narrowly escaped the fate of a deceased individual sitting nearby.
