Nikola Jokic Makes History with Triple-Double Against Every NBA Team

Denver, Colorado – Nikola Jokic made history by becoming the fourth player in NBA history to achieve a triple-double against every team in the league. His impressive performance included going 10-for-10 from the floor, finishing with 21 points, 19 rebounds, and 15 assists in the Denver Nuggets’ 130-110 victory over the Washington Wizards on Thursday night.

Jokic’s triple-double was his 16th of the season, trailing only Domantas Sabonis’ 18 in the league. He nearly achieved this feat in the first half, recording 10 points, 14 rebounds, and 9 assists. The only other players to achieve a triple-double against every opponent are LeBron James, Russell Westbrook, and Maurice Stokes.

In addition to Jokic’s outstanding performance, Michael Porter contributed 22 points and 11 rebounds for the defending champion Nuggets, who ended a three-game losing streak following the All-Star break.

The Wizards, on the other hand, suffered their ninth consecutive loss, with Kyle Kuzma leading the team with 31 points and 13 rebounds. Denver’s strong defensive gameplay led to a 1-34 record for the Wizards against teams with winning records, with Jordan Poole scoring 18 points but struggling to find his rhythm.

Despite a slow start behind the arc, Denver showcased its dominance by outscoring the Wizards inside the paint, finishing with a season-high 88 points in that area. This victory marked a strong rebound for the Nuggets following a recent three-game losing streak earlier in the season.
