OREGON STATE BASEBALL OVERTAKES UC IRVINE IN SUSPENDED NCAA REGIONAL MATCHUP – RESUMPTION ANNOUNCED

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State’s baseball team faced a suspension of their NCAA Corvallis Regional game against UC Irvine on Sunday due to rain. The Beavers were leading 6-4 before the game was halted in the fourth inning. The match is set to resume on Monday at 12:06 p.m. PT.

Oregon State’s strong performance included scoring five runs in the second inning, with Elijah Hainline hitting his 11th home run of the season. When the game picks up again on Monday, UC Irvine will start with a runner on first base and no outs in the bottom of the fourth.

ESPN+ will broadcast the game, and any additional airing details will be provided on Monday. Ticket holders for the suspended game are advised to retain their tickets for re-scanning upon entry. Gates will open at 11 a.m. on Monday, with campus parking regulations enforced.
