Porsche flys off parking garage with wads of cash and a cell phone left behind

NEW YORK, NY – New York City police are investigating a mysterious incident involving a Porsche that plummeted from a second-story parking garage in the Bronx early Sunday morning. Authorities are trying to determine who was driving the vehicle and why bundles of cash and a cell phone were left at the scene.

The incident occurred shortly after 5 a.m. at 40 West 225th Street, the location of a Target store. The blue Porsche landed upside down in a grassy area outside the garage, according to the NYPD. The driver was not present when police arrived, but investigators found wads of cash and a cell phone on the car’s undercarriage.

Police are currently unsure whether the Porsche was stolen. A woman who claimed ownership of the vehicle said she traveled from Pennsylvania to New York City upon hearing the news. A hospital worker, who requested anonymity, revealed that the driver walked into an emergency room after the crash, suffering from broken ribs.

“He mentioned that he walked home afterward and took a nap. It’s shocking that he could do that,” the hospital worker said.

The New York City Department of Buildings dispatched inspectors to the scene to assess the stability of the parking structure. The investigation is ongoing, and no injuries were reported by the NYPD.

The incident has left many questions unanswered, including the identity of the driver and the reason behind the cash and cell phone left at the scene. Authorities continue to search for clues that could shed light on this perplexing event.
