NASHUA, N.H. — Authorities have apprehended a suspect in connection with the armed robbery of a mail carrier in Nashua. Baraka Janvier, 18, from Lowell, Massachusetts, was taken into custody early Wednesday morning and is set to be arraigned on Thursday. The incident occurred when the mail carrier was robbed at gunpoint on Blacksmith Way, which was captured on a nearby home security camera.

During the robbery, the victim was threatened by a man demanding his postal keys, which are crucial for accessing mailboxes in the city of Nashua. Police later identified the suspect as Janvier. This crime reflects a concerning trend where postal keys have become attractive targets for thieves across the nation.
