Pregnant teacher found dead in her classroom

KENDALL, NY – A devastating incident occurred in an upstate New York school, where a special education teacher and her unborn child were found dead. Kendall Elementary School confirmed the tragic news about the untimely death of 29-year-old Courtney Fannon.

On Friday, March 8, Fannon was discovered unresponsive in her vacant classroom after school hours. Despite immediate medical intervention, both Fannon and her unborn child were pronounced dead at 6:30 p.m. The cause of death remains undisclosed.

Fannon, who was eagerly awaiting the birth of her daughter, Hadley Jaye, was just a month away from her due date, according to a GoFundMe page set up in her memory. The page paints a picture of a dedicated and compassionate teacher who always put her students first.

The GoFundMe page also serves as a tribute to Fannon’s dedication and love for her students, stating, “Courtney was a loving, genuine, and organized teacher who always prioritized her students, making a lasting positive impact on their lives.”

The school community is in mourning, with the GoFundMe page urging people to hold their loved ones closer, reminding them of the transience of life. Fannon’s passion for teaching special needs students and her ever-present friendly smile will be greatly missed at Kendall Elementary School.

To help students cope with this tragic loss, the school has arranged for mental health counselors to be available. The GoFundMe page, set up to honor Fannon’s memory, has raised over $70,000 as of Thursday afternoon.
