Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Relaunch Website with Regal Titles | Duke and Duchess of Sussex Launch Sussex.com for Personal Updates and More!

London, UK – Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have relaunched their website, sussex.com, using their official titles as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The new website replaces their former site, archewell.com, and will now provide more personal updates about the couple’s activities.

The decision to rebrand to Sussex comes after the couple moved away from using the title in 2020 due to debates at Buckingham Palace over their “Sussex Royal” tag. Although their departure from the royal family meant they could no longer use the HRH title, they are still able to use their Duke and Duchess titles.

Archewell was initially introduced after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped back from their royal duties, with the name being inspired by their son Archie. The name combines “arche,” the Greek word meaning “source of action,” with “well,” meaning “a plentiful source or supply; a place we go to dig deep.”

The new sussex.com website features a large photo of the couple at last year’s Invictus Games, along with their royal coat of arms and the title “The office of Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.” At the foot of the page, links to the Archewell Foundation, Archewell Productions, and their Sussex Royal website can be found.

The About section of the website describes their office as shaping the future through business and philanthropy, including the Archewell Foundation, Archewell Productions, patronages, ventures, and organizations that receive the couple’s support, individually and/or together.

The website also features separate profiles detailing their individual achievements, with Harry being described as a “humanitarian, military veteran, mental health advocate, and environmental campaigner” and Meghan as a “feminist and champion of human rights and gender equity.” The News channel on the website focuses on the couple’s recent personal outings, contrasting with the work posted on their Archewell site.

The rebranding of their website marks a new chapter for the couple as they continue to carve out their own path, separate from their royal family roots. This move is indicative of their determination to use their platform for philanthropy and to support causes close to their hearts, while also shaping their own identities outside of the royal spotlight.
