Razzies 2024 Shockers: Megan Fox and Winnie the Pooh Dominate with Five “Wins”

Los Angeles, California – The 2024 Golden Raspberry or Razzie Awards saw “Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey” and Megan Fox clinching top honors, celebrating the worst of Hollywood. The Razzies, held annually before the Oscars, dishonor the least esteemed movies and stars each year.

“Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey,” a horror film exploiting characters falling into the public domain, took home five Razzies, including Worst Picture, Worst Remake, Rip-Off or Sequel, and even Worst Screen Couple for Pooh and Piglet. Additionally, the film’s director Rhys Frake-Waterfield received Worst Director and Worst Screenplay awards.

Megan Fox made Razzie history by winning both Worst Actress and Worst Supporting Actress for her roles in “Johnny & Clyde” and “Expend4bles.” While “Expend4bles” led with seven nominations, it only secured two wins, with Sylvester Stallone taking home Worst Supporting Actor.

Fran Drescher, a past nominee, won the Razzie Redeemer Award for her successful leadership of the Screen Actors Guild during a 2023 strike. The once Worst Actress nominee was lauded for her contributions to the industry.

The Razzies, hosted by the Mean Gays, showcased the winners and nominees in a star-studded event. The categories included Worst Actor, Worst Actress, Worst Supporting Actress, Worst Supporting Actor, and more, all highlighting the industry’s less-than-stellar performances and productions.

Some of the other winners included Jon Voight for Worst Actor, Rhys Frake-Waterfield for Worst Director, and “Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey” for Worst Remake, Rip-Off or Sequel. The event provided a light-hearted take on the entertainment industry’s less successful endeavors.

Overall, the 2024 Razzies served as a reminder of the diversity of the film industry, showcasing both the successes and shortcomings of Hollywood’s biggest names and productions. Despite the “dishonors” bestowed, the event celebrated the spirit of resilience and creativity within the entertainment community.
