Los Angeles, California – Rising artist Rema stole the show with his performance of “Calm Down” wearing a fluffy hunter hat and bomber jacket. As fans eagerly awaited the announcement of Album of the Year, the winners of other categories were revealed.
Jungle took home the award for Group of the Year, while Miley Cyrus won International Song of the Year for “Flowers.” Raye was recognized as Artist of the Year, as well as Songwriter of the Year. The coveted award for Producer of the Year went to Chase and Status.
Other notable winners included The Last Dinner Party for Rising Star, Dua Lipa for Best Pop Act, and Calvin Harris for Best Dance Act. In the realm of hip-hop/grime/rap, CasIsDead secured the award, while Bring Me The Horizon claimed the title of Best Alternative/Rock Act.
International honors were bestowed upon Boygenius for International Group of the Year and SZA for International Artist of the Year. Raye once again shined as Best New Artist, with their track “Escapism” featuring 070 Shake taking home the award for Song of the Year.
