Shamrock Shake 2023: It’s Back and Better than Ever – Get Yours Now!

McDonald’s fans in the United States are eagerly anticipating the return of the iconic Shamrock Shake. The mint-flavored, green-tinted shake will be back on the menu starting February 5, available for a limited time at participating restaurants nationwide. This year’s return is more than two weeks earlier than last year’s, which came on February 20. Alongside the Shamrock Shake, the Oreo Shamrock McFlurry will also make a comeback, featuring crushed Oreo cookies. Both of these limited-time drinks are set to delight McDonald’s customers once again.

Originally introduced in 1970, the Shamrock Shake is made with vanilla soft-serve ice cream, an artificially flavored minty green syrup, and whipped topping. For those conscious of their calorie intake, a medium Shamrock Shake contains 540 calories, making it a slightly lower-calorie option compared to a chocolate shake. The Oreo Shamrock McFlurry carries 560 calories, a slightly higher count compared to a regular Oreo McFlurry.

In addition to the classic menu item, McDonald’s is also offering the Double Big Mac for a limited time. Available since January 24 in participating restaurants nationwide, the Double Big Mac features double the amount of all-beef patties, with more Big Mac sauce, pickles, lettuce, and chopped onions, though not twice the cheese. With 780 calories, the Double Big Mac is a heartier option for those looking for a filling meal at McDonald’s.

As customers prepare to indulge in these limited-time offerings, the return of the Shamrock Shake and the special items at McDonald’s signal the excitement and anticipation surrounding seasonal favorites at the fast-food chain. Whether it’s a nostalgic treat or a new creation, McDonald’s continues to draw in customers with its innovative and beloved menu items.
