Nixon, Texas – A shocking revelation has emerged from the sleepy town of Nixon in southern Texas. A 10-year-old boy recently confessed to a crime that occurred two years ago, shedding light on a tragic incident that resulted in the death of Brandon O’Quinn Rasberry, 32. Rasberry was found dead in his RV at the Lazy J RV Park, located in Nixon, Texas, about 60 miles east of San Antonio. The autopsy results pointed to homicide as the cause of death, with Rasberry sustaining a fatal gunshot wound to the head.
The Gonzales County Sheriff’s Office was alerted to the boy’s involvement in the shooting after a concerning incident at the Nixon Smiley Independent School District. The principal reported the 10-year-old for allegedly threatening another student on a school bus, prompting law enforcement to investigate further. During questioning, the child disclosed the chilling detail of how he had shot and killed a man two years prior.
According to authorities, the boy detailed the events leading up to Rasberry’s murder. He admitted to taking a pistol from his grandfather’s truck while visiting the RV park and using it to fatally shoot Rasberry while he slept.
