Shooting Scandal: Music Producer Doubles Down on Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Lawsuit

Los Angeles, California – A music producer’s lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs has escalated with claims of a shooting incident involving Combs and his son at an L.A. recording studio. The producer, Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, alleges that he was sexually harassed, drugged, and threatened by Combs during their time together from September 2022 to November 2023.

The initial complaint, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, also details a shooting that took place at a “writers and producers camp” held at Chalice Recording Studio in Los Angeles on September 12, 2022. Jones claims that Combs, Combs’ son Justin, and Justin’s friend “G” were present during the incident.

The lawsuit further accuses Combs of being involved in a “RICO enterprise” and engaging in a “sex trafficking venture.” A RICO enterprise involves individuals or groups acting together to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act. This legal trouble adds to a series of lawsuits against Combs, including multiple allegations of sexual assault.

Jones alleges that after a heated conversation, he heard gunshots in a nearby bathroom where he found Justin’s friend G wounded. The lawsuit claims that Combs instructed Jones to falsely report the shooting as a drive-by outside the studio. However, discrepancies exist between Jones’ account and information provided by the Los Angeles Police Department.

Chalice Recording Studio, where the incident took place, has not commented on the allegations. The lawsuit includes a message from Chalice stating that the shooting occurred away from the studio during a robbery, contradicting Jones’ claims.

In response to the amended complaint, Combs’ attorney, Shawn Holley, maintains that the shooting did not involve Combs or his son and took place at a distance from the studio. The legal battle continues as Jones seeks justice for the alleged harassment, assault, and unpaid work on Combs’ recent album. The numerous lawsuits against Combs highlight a complex legal battle surrounding the music mogul’s reputation and legal standing.
