Six Flags employee dies at the park

COBB COUNTY, GA – A Six Flags Over Georgia employee has recently lost her life in a vehicle accident within the park over the weekend. The incident took place on Sunday evening as the park’s Fright Fest scare actors were gearing up for the night’s activities.

Asia Hendricks, 27, was driving a Ford Econoline van, transporting seven members of the cast and crew to their posts within the park. This is a standard procedure to keep actors in makeup from moving through different areas of the park.

The van, a cargo vehicle with no seats in the back, was involved in an accident during a maneuver. One of the passengers, 43-year-old Andrea Crook of Villa Rica, was ejected from the vehicle and suffered from severe head injuries.

The accident happened as the van was making a left, uphill turn. Crook was immediately taken to Grady Memorial Hospital with critical injuries. After she was brought to the hospital, she was later pronounced dead.

The authorities are now investigating the incident to decide whether charges should be brought against the driver for the employee’s untimely death. Several factors are being examined to determine the appropriate course of action.

Crook, remembered as a loving wife and mother of three, was deeply mourned by her colleagues. The park has pledged to provide support to those affected by this tragic incident and to fully cooperate with the Cobb County police in their investigation.
