Smart Glasses Revolution: Solos AirGo Vision to Feature Hands-Free Video Recording and AI Voice Assistant with Camera-Equipped Version Coming Soon!

San Francisco, California – The world of smart glasses is expanding, with companies like Solos offering new and innovative features to compete with the Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses. Solos has announced the upcoming release of the Solos AirGo Vision, a pair of smart glasses that goes beyond just audio capabilities.

Solos AirGo Vision is set to feature a camera that will be integrated with OpenAI’s new GPT-4o AI model, enabling the camera to recognize objects and answer questions about what the user is viewing. This advancement in technology aims to provide users with a hands-free experience that combines video recording and AI voice assistance.

What sets the Solos AirGo Vision apart is its swappable frame system, allowing users to easily switch out the camera when needed. This feature gives users the flexibility to remove the camera in situations where it may not be socially acceptable or simply swap it out for a different look or sunglasses. Additional frames for the Solos AirGo Vision will be available for purchase, ranging in price from $89 to $129.

In addition to the camera functionality, the Solos AirGo Vision will also include notification LEDs to alert users of incoming calls or emails. The company claims that these smart glasses can also be integrated with Google Gemini and Anthropic’s Claude AI models. Similar to Meta’s Ray-Bans, the Solos AirGo Vision will rely on audio for answering questions, as they do not have a display screen apart from the LEDs.

As of now, the Solos AirGo Vision does not have a confirmed price or release date, but it is expected to be priced higher than the $249.99 pair without the camera that Solos plans to launch in July. In comparison, the Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses are currently priced starting at $299. Considering this price range and the advanced features offered by Solos AirGo Vision, it will be interesting to see how these smart glasses fare in the competitive market of wearable technology.
