LONG BEACH, CA – Authorities are on the hunt for a suspect linked to a deadly stabbing incident at Dave’s Hot Chicken restaurant in Long Beach early Sunday. Preliminary evidence suggests an argument triggered the episode inside the bustling restaurant at the junction of 2nd Street and Covina Avenue shortly before 1 a.m.
Bystanders at the restaurant noted that the exchange quickly escalated from a verbal spat to a physical brawl. Graphic scenes captured on video reveal the victim on the ground after the stabbing while emergency responders were seen rushing to tend to his serious wounds. One onlooker speculated that the man was stabbed in the neck, although the police have yet to confirm this detail.
