State Lawmaker Threatens to Shut Down Local Bar in Profane Rant – Caught on Video

ROCKLEDGE, Pennsylvania – A Pennsylvania state lawmaker has found himself at the center of controversy after a video surfaced showing him threatening to shut down a local bar during a profanity-laced outburst at the establishment.

Rep. Kevin Boyle, a Democrat, was captured on video engaging in a heated altercation with a female bartender at Gaul & Co. Malt House in Rockledge, Pennsylvania. In the video, Boyle can be heard shouting profanities and making threats to shut down the bar using his political influence.

The video, which quickly went viral on social media, shows Boyle refusing to leave the bar despite repeated requests from the staff. At one point, he is heard saying, “I can f–king end this bar by the way, I’d f–king end this bar if I wanted to.”

Boyle continued to hurl insults at the bar staff, accusing them of being “actors” and claiming that they were working with the federal government. He also threatened to prevent some of the employees from receiving promotions within the United States military.

This incident is not the first time Boyle has found himself in trouble. In 2021, he was arrested and charged with harassment and violating a protection from abuse order filed by his wife. As a result of the arrest, he was removed from his position as House Finance Committee chairman and had his access to the Capitol limited.

In response to the video, the Pennsylvania House Democratic Leaders issued a statement acknowledging the troubling nature of the video and expressing support for Boyle as he seeks help for his personal challenges.

The incident at Gaul & Co. Malt House has brought renewed attention to Boyle’s behavior and raised questions about his fitness to serve in public office. It remains to be seen how this latest controversy will impact his political career and whether he will face any consequences for his actions.

As the video continues to circulate online, it serves as a stark reminder of the importance of holding public officials accountable for their conduct and the impact of their actions on the communities they serve.
