Sword attack leaves 13-year-old dead, several injured

LONDON, ENGLAND – A shocking incident ensued in Hainault, east London, claiming the life of a 13-year-old boy when a man crashed a car into a house and then proceeded to attack bystanders with a sword. Authorities apprehended the suspect at the scene.

London’s Metropolitan Police report that the horrifying episode unfolded around 7 a.m. local time. The Thurlow Gardens area in Hainault was gripped with panic as the man crashed into a residence and then began a stabbing rampage, leaving several injured.

According to the police, a 13-year-old boy tragically succumbed to the injuries inflicted by this brazen attack. The incident also left four individuals, comprising two police officers and two members of the public, with serious injuries, all of whom are currently receiving treatment in a hospital.

The initial information from the Metropolitan Police indicates that the suspect attacked other bystanders and police officers after crashing into the house. They arrested a 36-year-old male at the scene and curtailed his reign of terror.
