Tacoma shooting claims two lives, injures three

TACOMA, WA – A violent shooting incident at The Alleycat Patio & Lounge took place early Sunday morning. This resulted in two fatalities and left three others seriously injured, as per the Tacoma Police Department. The police were alerted to the situation around 1:30 a.m. following reports of multiple gunshots in a business located on the 2700 block of 6th Avenue.

Upon arrival, the officers discovered four individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. One of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene. The remaining three, who sustained severe injuries, were immediately transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.

The police are still on the lookout for the suspect, who remains at large. Preliminary investigations suggest that the suspect had some interaction with one of the victims prior to the shooting. However, it remains unclear whether the suspect and the victim were acquainted. The other victims are believed to be bystanders, caught in the crossfire.

Initially, the police reported one fatality and three injuries. However, they later revised the report to include an additional victim. Tragically, one of the victims initially reported as critically injured succumbed to their injuries. The investigation into this violent incident is still ongoing, with no arrests made so far.
