Tampa man arrested for deadly shooting after argument

A 60-year-old man from Tampa has been arrested in connection with a shooting that took a man’s life on Tuesday night. The Tampa Police Department announced the arrest on Friday, revealing that the victim was a man in his late 20s.

The police were called to the scene around 6 p.m. on June 20 to investigate the shooting. Witnesses at the park where the incident occurred provided detectives with information about the shooter, identified as Carl Bradwell. They also reported that Bradwell and the victim had argued earlier in the day.

According to the police department’s news release, the witnesses said that Bradwell left the park on a bicycle after shooting the victim. Detectives confirmed their statements and found surveillance footage that showed Bradwell biking away from the park after the shooting.

Bradwell was arrested on Thursday night and is being held without bail at the Orient Road Jail. He faces a first-degree murder charge. The police department did not release the name of the victim.

The motive for the shooting is still unclear, and the investigation is ongoing.
