Taylor Swift’s Producer Defends Her Songwriting: “You Just Don’t Go There”

Los Angeles, CA – In a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times, Jack Antonoff defended his longtime collaborator Taylor Swift against critics who question her songwriting abilities. Antonoff, a Grammy-winning producer, compared challenging Swift’s songwriting to questioning someone’s faith in God, emphasizing the extent to which he values and protects her talent.

Antonoff’s support for Swift stems from a previous incident involving Blur and Gorillaz frontman Damon Albarn, who faced backlash from Swift fans after suggesting that Swift does not write her own songs. Albarn’s remarks prompted Antonoff to take to Twitter, expressing his disbelief at Albarn’s claims and defending Swift’s songwriting skills.

In addition to defending Swift against critics, Antonoff also took aim at Kanye West, referring to him as someone who “just needs his diaper changed so badly.” Antonoff expressed his disinterest in West’s behavior, characterizing it as a desperate attempt to shock and a waste of space.

While it remains unconfirmed whether Antonoff worked on Swift’s upcoming album “The Tortured Poets Department,” fans speculate that his involvement is likely given his history of collaboration with the singer. Swift surprised fans by announcing the album at the Grammys, deviating from expectations of a re-release of “Reputation” by revealing an entirely new album with 16 tracks and bonus songs.

Travis Kelce, Swift’s boyfriend, praised the new album during a Super Bowl press conference, describing it as “unbelievable” and expressing anticipation for its release. “The Tortured Poets Department” is set to debut on April 19, leaving fans eagerly awaiting Swift’s latest musical endeavor.
