Teen caught planning school shooting

ONTARIO, CA – A teenager from Ontario, obsessed with the infamous Columbine High School massacre, was charged on Wednesday with attempted murder and issuing a terrorist threat. The charges came after the teen allegedly sketched out an elaborate plan to execute a shooting at his own school.

Ontario Christian High School officials were initially informed of the threat by a fellow student who raised concerns about 18-year-old Sebastian Villasenor displaying an unhealthy fixation on school shootings and having access to weapons.

Ontario Police Department Chief Mike Lorenz reported that Villasenor was studying tactical supplies and pinpointing a specific date to conduct the school shooting. The police arrested Villasenor at his residence, where they found a significant stockpile of weapons.

The police chief revealed that alongside “over a thousand rounds” of ammunition and 11 weapons, which include seven rifles and a shotgun, Villasenor had meticulously charted his sinister scheme, demonstrating a chilling obsession with police response times.

Both investigators and school administrators are crediting Villasenor’s classmate for halting a potential campus shooting. Lorenz hailed the student who reported the threat as a “hero” whose intervention may have saved countless lives and forestalled severe trauma for the community.

Although Villasenor reportedly encountered no bullying or harassment at school, he struggled to forge friendships with his peers at Ontario Christian High School. According to Lorenz, while there was no formal manifesto, the teen had contemplated inflicting harm on six particular students.

Villasenor is now facing a count of attempted terrorist threat and five counts of attempted murder.
