Teen shot to death while attending a party

BAY SHORE, NY – On Long Island, a 19-year-old was fatally shot while attending a party with friends. Sean Mills was identified as the deceased victim of the devastating shooting. The gunfire erupted on Friday on Ackerson Boulevard in Bay Shore. According to reports from Sean’s family, he went to a house party where he was shot in the head shortly after arriving. He succumbed later in the hospital.

Apart from Sean, a 17-year-old girl also sustained gunshot wounds but is in non-life-threatening condition, as per Suffolk County Police. No arrests have been made in connection with the incident yet.

James, the victim’s brother, expressed disbelief about how certain people can freely engage in such egregious acts, referring to the unidentified shooter(s). James also mentioned that Sean had been the subject of social media threats, speculating that he might have agreed to attend the party due to an advertisement clarifying a weapons prohibition at the event. The brother warned about the unpredictable dangers that could arise at such events.

In the wake of the tragic incident, James and his family are now centered on obtaining justice for Sean. Authorities have requested anyone with information on the incident to contact the Suffolk County Homicide Squad or the Crime Stoppers Hotline.
