**Terror** attack in Eli leaves two Israelis dead – IDF neutralizes terrorists – shocking details emerge

Jerusalem, Israel – Two Israelis tragically lost their lives in a terror shooting attack near the West Bank settlement of Eli, the IDF confirmed on Thursday. In response, the IDF was able to eliminate two out of the three terrorists involved in the attack. The third terrorist was later neutralized by security forces after seeking refuge in a Hummus Eliyahu branch without any hostages present.

The incident unfolded when Magen David Adom received a report of gunfire on Route 60 near the entrance to Eli. Medics quickly responded, providing critical medical treatment to two individuals who were severely wounded and unconscious. Tragically, both victims succumbed to their injuries shortly after.

Initial reports by army radio indicated that two terrorists were killed at the scene, sparking a manhunt for the remaining attacker. As the situation unfolded, residents were advised that there were no more suspected infiltrations, allowing them to safely leave their homes.

Despite the immediate threat neutralized, the IDF continued to conduct thorough scans of the area to ensure there were no other looming dangers. Additionally, Israeli media reported that Aviad Gazber, the owner of the Hummus Eliyahu branch where the third terrorist sought cover, played a crucial role in subduing one of the attackers.

The settlement of Eli’s spokesperson mentioned that this attack occurred at the same gas station where four individuals were tragically killed a year prior. Reports revealed that one of the terrorists involved was Mohammed Manasreh, a Palestinian Authority police officer.

In response to the attack, Public Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir called for a change in strategy, emphasizing the need to veer away from the status quo to prevent further attacks. Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich echoed the sentiment, advocating for a more proactive approach to address the deep-rooted hatred towards Israel.

The chairman of the settlement Eli, Ariel Elmaleh, expressed deep concern over the recurring attacks at the gas station, emphasizing the need for heightened security measures. Similarly, the head of the Gush Etzion Regional Council, Shlomo Na’aman, called for a stronger stance against terrorism, asserting that all threats in the West Bank must be eliminated.

As investigations continue into the motives behind the attack, Israeli authorities remain vigilant in safeguarding communities and preventing future acts of violence in the region.
