Los Angeles, California – Contestants on “The Masked Singer” faced off in a fierce competition on Wednesday’s episode, themed “Shower Anthems Night.” Host Nick Cannon embraced the bathing theme by going shirtless under his suit jacket, while panelists Ken Jeong, Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, and Rita Ora showed up fully clothed.
The Group C singers opened the night with a performance of Becky G’s “Shower,” setting the stage for a double elimination. Clock sang Aretha Franklin’s “Respect,” Lizard tackled Evanescence’s “Bring Me to Life,” and Poodle Moth delivered Miranda Lambert’s “The House That Built Me.” Unfortunately, Lizard’s unique song choice didn’t pay off as he became the first contestant to be eliminated.
The panelists made their final guesses before Lizard was unmasked as Sisqo, known for hits like “Thong Song” and “Incomplete.” Ora, who correctly guessed his identity, fangirled over meeting the music star. Clock emerged victorious in the Battle Royale against Poodle Moth, leading to intense speculation on Poodle Moth’s identity, with Ora ultimately saving her from elimination by ringing the Ding Dong Keep It On Bell.
