Three people were shot, two killed, near subway station

NEW YORK, NY – A violent incident near a Manhattan subway station late Sunday night left two men dead and another injured, authorities confirmed. The shooting occurred close to the Inwood-207th Street station, sending shockwaves through the community.

The chaos unfolded around midnight at the intersection of West 207th Street and 10th Avenue. Police officers responding to multiple 911 calls discovered three men suffering from gunshot wounds. A 44-year-old victim had sustained a gunshot wound to the face, a 40-year-old man was shot in the chest, and a 37-year-old man was hit in the leg. Tragically, the two older men succumbed to their injuries.

Investigators are still trying to determine the motive behind the shooting. The suspect, described as a man dressed in black and wearing a ski mask, fled eastbound on West 206th Street immediately after the incident. Authorities have not yet made any arrests.
