Tragedy: 3-Year-Old Twins Found Dead in Car on Miami Highway, Woman Injured in Mysterious Incident

MIAMI, FLORIDA – Tragedy struck in Miami early Friday as authorities reported a heartbreaking incident involving the death of 3-year-old twins who were found unresponsive in a car parked along Interstate 95. The female driver was critically injured after jumping off an overpass when police arrived on the scene, causing a major disruption of traffic and delaying commuter trains in the area.

According to Miami-Dade County Police, 911 calls came in around 2 a.m. regarding the boy and girl, who were discovered in the backseat of a car parked at the Golden Glades Interchange, where I-95 meets Florida’s Turnpike. Good Samaritans at the scene were attempting CPR on the twins before first responders arrived.

Upon arrival, the woman jumped off the overpass onto train tracks below, while officers located the children, who were then rushed to the hospital but tragically pronounced dead. The woman was also taken to the hospital and listed in critical condition. As of now, police have not released any information about the possible cause of this devastating incident, nor have they determined the relationship between the woman and the children.

Detective Andre Martin addressed the media, stating that investigators are diligently working to piece together the details of this tragic event. The investigation not only had a significant impact on traffic but also left the community mourning the loss of the young twins and praying for the recovery of the female driver.
