The musician’s mother revealed that he had slipped and fallen in the shower while house-sitting for a friend in Brussels, Belgium. His friends discovered him upon their return from a trip, where he was found after suffering the fatal accident.

Charlie Colin, known for his role as the bass player in Train, helped establish the band in the 1990s alongside original members Pat Monahan, Rob Hotchkiss, Jimmy Stafford, and Scott Underwood. The group rose to fame with hit songs like “Drops of Jupiter” and “Hey, Soul Sister,” captivating audiences with their music.

Despite his success with Train, Colin left the band in 2003 following struggles with substance abuse. His departure was a difficult decision, as Monahan acknowledged Colin’s incredible talent as a bass player.
