New Windsor EMS Chief Michael Bigg disclosed to News 12 that the incident involved a Boeing 787 jet, and after addressing the medical emergency, United Airlines Flight 85 resumed its journey to Newark Liberty International Airport. The Federal Aviation Administration released a statement confirming the safe landing of the flight at New York Stewart International Airport around 6:45 p.m. local time on Friday, March 29.
