New Orleans, Louisiana – Christina Hendricks, best known for her role in “Mad Men,” recently tied the knot with George Bianchini at the historic Napoleon House in New Orleans. The couple, who first met on the set of Hendricks’ TV show “Good Girls,” decided to choose the Big Easy as their wedding venue due to their shared love and special connection to the city.

Hendricks expressed her love for New Orleans, stating that it was a place she always enjoyed visiting even before meeting Bianchini. The actress revealed that the city became a significant meeting point for them, as they lived across the country from each other in the early stages of their relationship.

The venue for the wedding, the Napoleon House, holds rich historical significance as the former home of New Orleans mayor Nicholas Girod, who provided refuge to Napoleon Bonaparte during his exile. Hendricks described the venue as having a unique blend of Cuban, Spanish, and European textures, reflecting the couple’s “high-low” style.

The intimate ceremony, attended by 76 guests, kicked off with a welcome cocktail party followed by a ghost tour in the French Quarter. Among the attendees were “Mad Men” creator Matthew Weiner, Retta, Mae Whitman, and fashion designer Christian Siriano, who designed Hendricks’ pre-wedding cocktail dress.

The couple’s friend Shirley Manson, lead singer of the band Garbage, officiated the ceremony. Hendricks spoke highly of Manson’s writing and poetry skills, describing her and her husband, record producer Billy Bush, as “couple goals” for herself and Bianchini.

Hendricks and Bianchini began dating in 2020 and got engaged in February 2023. This marks the second marriage for Hendricks, who was previously married to actor Geoffrey Arend from 2009 to 2019.

The wedding celebration reflected the couple’s love for each other and their connection to New Orleans, making it a memorable and romantic affair for all in attendance.
