Two dead after bus shooting

BERKELEY, MO – A double shooting incident on a MetroBus in Berkeley, Missouri, has left two individuals dead, prompting the intervention of the Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis. The fatal shooting took place at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Airport Road’s 8300 block, where an unidentified man reportedly opened fire on the bus.

Eyewitnesses at the scene relayed the chilling account to the local police. The victims, whose identities are yet to be disclosed, were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. Despite the best efforts of the medical team, both victims succumbed to their injuries.

The bus operator, Bi-State Development, expressed its shock and concern over the incident in a public statement. The company emphasized its full cooperation with law enforcement and investigators, describing the incident as a bold manifestation of the escalating violent crime crisis in the region.
