Two women on the way to pick up kids disappear

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Law enforcement agencies in Oklahoma are currently probing the mysterious disappearance of two women, whose vehicle was discovered deserted in a secluded region over this past weekend.

The missing women, 27-year-old Veronica Butler and 39-year-old Jilian Kelley, were reportedly on a journey to collect children on Saturday. However, they never arrived at the designated meeting point, as reported by the Texas County Sheriff’s Office.

Their vehicle was later discovered deserted in the vicinity of Highway 95 and Road L, south of Elkhart, Kansas, in the rural Texas County, as per the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI).

The OSBI, in collaboration with the Texas County Sheriff’s Office, Oklahoma Highway Patrol, and other law enforcement agencies, are making concerted efforts to locate the missing women.

The OSBI is treating the situation as a “suspicious disappearance case.”

According to a missing persons notice issued by the Texas County Sheriff’s Office, Butler has several distinctive tattoos, including a Chinese symbol on her left forearm and a sunflower on her left shoulder. Kelley is identified by a butterfly tattoo on her left forearm.

Butler is described as 5-feet 4-inches tall, with red hair and green eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue short-sleeve shirt and denim shorts. Kelley, on the other hand, has brown hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing a long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and tan or beige shoes.
