Violent stabbing inside deli leaves 1 dead, 1 injured

BROOKLYN, NY – An early Sunday morning altercation in a Brooklyn deli has left one woman dead and her twin sister injured, as announced by the New York Police Department. The grim occurrence played out around 2:20 a.m. at a deli located on 77 4th Avenue.

The fatal victim, a young woman of just 19 years, suffered catastrophic stab wounds to her neck and chest, which ultimately proved fatal. Her twin sister, the second victim, was stabbed in the arm and is presently in stable condition.

An eyewitness, who claimed to have been present with the victims at a party prior to the incident, shed light on the chilling events. According to this account, the twins were approached by a man who became irate when his advances were rebuffed. The witness described the incident, stating, “They’re not sober. They get rejected and they just escalated it ten-fold. We (were) all having a good night before this.”

The attackers promptly escaped the scene and have yet to be apprehended by law enforcement officers. Following the incident, both victims were rushed to New York Presbyterian Methodist Hospital.

However, one of the sisters approached by the violent attacker did not recover from the incident. Despite the medical staff’s best efforts, one of the twins ultimately succumbed to her severe injuries and lost her life.
