Mild temperatures accompanied by occasional showers and thunderstorms are expected today, followed by a sudden burst of strong winds in the evening, and a sharp drop in temperatures on Thursday.

Today, temperatures will start in the mid-50s to near 60s, climbing into the 60s in the afternoon, with breezes blowing from the south around 10 to 20 mph. Heavier rain and thunder are likely to occur midafternoon into early evening as a cold front moves through. Tonight, temperatures will drop through the 50s into the 40s, with stronger winds from the northwest bringing the possibility of damaging gusts.

Thursday will bring a cooler day with mostly sunny skies and a lingering breeze, with highs only reaching the mid-40s to near 50. The evening will see the calm of the breeze and clear skies, with temperatures dropping to the mid-20s to mid-30s. On Friday, the day will start mostly sunny before becoming mostly cloudy in the afternoon, with shower chances returning in the evening and overnight.

Saturday may have some morning showers, but they are less likely in the afternoon. Highs are expected to be in the upper 50s to low 60s despite mostly cloudy skies. Sunday could bring partly to mostly sunny skies with highs in the 60s, although there is a chance of showers in some model outputs.
