Woman arrested for attacking a 10-year-old boy in a hotel pool and biting a police officer

WILDWOOD CREST, NJ – A New Jersey woman faces multiple charges after an incident at a motel pool where she allegedly attacked a child, his father, and a police officer, authorities said.

Police responded to a disturbance call Monday afternoon at a motel on the 6200 block of Ocean Avenue. Upon arrival, witnesses reported that a highly intoxicated woman, identified as 43-year-old Fallan Turner, was causing chaos in the pool area.

According to police, Turner grabbed a 10-year-old boy, swung him around, and pushed him underwater. When the boy’s father intervened, Turner reportedly jumped on his back and inappropriately grabbed him.

Officers attempted to calm Turner, but she became increasingly belligerent. During the arrest, she resisted by pushing an officer in the face. Once at the Wildwood Crest Police headquarters, Turner continued to be combative and bit an officer’s hand.

Despite the physical altercations, neither officer sustained significant injuries. Turner was charged with several offenses, including endangering the welfare of children, aggravated assault on law enforcement, resisting arrest with force, criminal sexual contact, failure to allow fingerprinting, harassment, and disorderly conduct.

Turner is currently held at the Cape May County Correctional Facility.
