Police found the woman in a vehicle near the medical office entrance Friday, and her cause of death remains unknown.
LOS ANGELES, CA — A woman in her 60s was found dead inside a vehicle Friday afternoon outside Kaiser Permanente’s Baldwin Hills-Crenshaw Medical Offices, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Officers responded around 1 p.m. Oct. 2 to the 3700 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in the Baldwin Hills area. Police found the woman inside a vehicle parked in a roundabout and pronounced her dead at the scene.
Authorities had not released information about how the woman died as of Friday. Police also had not publicly identified her, and no circumstances leading up to the discovery were immediately available.
Aerial footage from the scene showed a canopy placed over the vehicle near the entrance to the Kaiser Permanente medical offices. The facility is located at 3782 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
The available information did not indicate whether the woman had been visiting the medical offices or why the vehicle was at the location. Authorities also had not announced whether investigators suspected a crime in connection with the death.
