Customers with a registered EBT card can opt for a discounted subscription fee of $4.99 per month to avail of grocery delivery without a Prime membership. Subscribers will also have the opportunity to access unlimited delivery for orders over $35 from various local retailers.

In a bid to assist low-income customers in grocery shopping, Amazon introduced the grocery subscription service in select cities as part of a pilot project. Over 85% of participants in the pilot expressed high satisfaction with the free delivery benefit, citing savings on delivery fees and enhanced convenience as top reasons for continued subscription.

This initiative aligns with Amazon’s commitment to enhancing the grocery shopping experience for all customers, offering a diverse range of brands, exclusive deals, and benefits for Prime members across their portfolio of stores, including Whole Foods Market, Amazon Fresh, and Amazon Go. With a focus on affordability, selection, and convenience, Amazon continues to innovate its grocery services to cater to the evolving needs of customers.
