College student kills his mom because she ‘got on his nerves’

POLK COUNTY, FL – An unsettling murder has been reported in Florida, where a pre-med student from the University of Florida stands accused of stabbing his mother to death because she “got on his nerves.”

The 21-year-old student, Emanuel Espinoza, had approached his mother, Elvia Espinoza, wanting to spend the weekend with her at her home, which is located approximately two hours south of Orlando. When the mother opened the door for her son at around 2 p.m. on Saturday, Espinoza allegedly brandished a knife and started attacking her.
