CRASH CHAOS: SUV Plows Into Cannabis Dispensary Injuring Three People in Attleboro, MA

ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Three individuals are currently receiving medical treatment after a SUV collided into a cannabis dispensary in Attleboro, Massachusetts. The incident occurred at Zahara Cannabis on 70 Frank Mossberg Drive around 1:30 p.m. on a Thursday afternoon.

According to authorities, the SUV crashed into the dispensary near the southwest corner of the building, continuing to travel inside and coming to a stop within the retail space of the establishment. One Zahara Cannabis employee, a 34-year-old male, was hit by the vehicle upon entry, sustaining injuries to his right forearm and ankle, in addition to a possible concussion. He was promptly transported to Rhode Island Hospital in Providence for further medical attention.

Another person present at the dispensary, a 42-year-old woman, also suffered injuries from the collision. She was reported to have lacerations on her head and lower back, as well as experiencing knee pain. The woman was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital for treatment. The driver of the SUV, a 62-year-old woman, was also taken to Sturdy Memorial Hospital with minor injuries, as stated by the police.

All injured parties were transferred from the scene by the Attleboro Fire Department Emergency Medical Services. Following the incident, a city building inspector assessed the structural damage caused by the collision at Zahara Cannabis. Attleboro Fire Chief Scott Lachance confirmed that the building remains structurally sound. The crash is currently under investigation by Attleboro police for further details.
