Multiple law enforcement sources revealed that the discovery of two children on the 405 Freeway in Culver City was tied to a murder investigation in Woodland Hills and a fatal crash in Redondo Beach.
The series of events began around 4:30 a.m. when emergency responders arrived at the northbound lanes of the freeway near Howard Hughes Parkway and Sepulveda Boulevard. There, they found an infant and a child.
