Out of 2,194 flights evaluated at Provo Airport, nearly 40% of them experienced delays, illustrating the challenges faced by both airlines operating within the regional airport.

In comparison, Orlando Sanford International Airport in Florida reported an average delay time of 1 hour and 35 minutes, affecting nearly 30% of the 9,847 flights landing at the airport between January 2023 and February 2024. Additionally, Dallas Fort Worth International Airport experienced 4,096 days worth of domestic and international flight delays, with an average delay time of 1 hour and 29 minutes for over 300,000 incoming flights.
Despite the challenges faced by airports nationwide, Hilo International Airport in Hawaii stood out for having the shortest average delays of 40 minutes, demonstrating a more efficient travel experience for passengers.
