Four men were ambushed at a gas station one dead, one critical

HOUSTON, TX – A violent shooting incident that occurred in southeast Houston is currently under investigation by local law enforcement. The unfortunate event resulted in one man losing his life and another being critically injured.

The shooting took place around 8:20 p.m. on Monday at a convenience store located on South Wayside near Telephone. The Houston Police Department has been actively working on the case, releasing recent updates on the incident.

The victims, four Hispanic males, were reportedly in a black Cadillac Escalade. They had visited the convenience store and were returning to their vehicle when the assailants struck. The suspects, armed with long guns, arrived at the scene in two separate vehicles, a silver Mercedes Benz and a gray Dodge Charger.

According to the Houston Police Department, two individuals emerged from the Dodge while one exited the Mercedes Benz. They proceeded to open fire on the Escalade before fleeing the scene.

A 34-year-old man from the Escalade was rushed to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Another victim, a 29-year-old man, was also transported to the hospital and remains in critical condition.

Investigators believe that this was a targeted attack. The suspects are described as three Hispanic men dressed in white, with one suspect wearing black pants. The Houston Police Department is urging anyone with information regarding the case to contact them or to report anonymously to Crime Stoppers.
