Four people shot, one killed

SPRINGFIELD, MA – A shooting incident on Tuesday night in Springfield, Massachusetts left one man dead and three others injured. Local law enforcement responded to the scene shortly before 6:30 p.m. where they discovered three men suffering from gunshot wounds. Two of the victims were located inside a vehicle, while the third was found on the ground nearby.

Investigators later reported a fourth victim who managed to reach Baystate Medical Center independently. The identities of the four men have not been disclosed at this time, and no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.

One of the men found in the truck was pronounced dead at the hospital due to the severity of his injuries. The second man from the truck was reported to be in serious condition. The health status of the other two victims, including the one who self-transported to the hospital, is reported to be stable.

The Springfield Police Homicide Unit, in collaboration with the Hampden District Attorney’s Office, is currently investigating the incident. Further details will be released as the investigation progresses.
