EDNA, TX – A small community in Texas has been left in shock after the tragic death of 16-year-old cheerleader Lizbeth Medina. The incident took place on Tuesday in Medina’s apartment, leading to a major investigation being conducted by local and state law enforcement agencies.
Dispatched to the Cottonwood Apartments, Edna Police responded to a call about an unresponsive minor. Authorities arrived at the scene to find the lifeless body of Medina.
The teenager was expected to participate in a Christmas parade on the same day that she was found dead. Her mother didn’t spot her daughter among the cheer squad during the parade. This observation sparked an informal investigation alongside her friends to find out where she was. After returning to their residence, they stumbled upon the gruesome sight of the unresponsive teen.
