Man goes on car rampage hitting three people including officer

WALTHAM, MA – A motorist in a Boston suburb caused havoc on Wednesday when he crashed into three individuals, including a police officer, and then proceeded to steal a police cruiser. The suspect, whose identity has not yet been disclosed, later crashed the stolen vehicle, triggering a foot chase.

The incident unfolded on Totten Pond Road in Waltham, Massachusetts, a town located approximately 10 miles west of Boston. The suspect’s vehicle first struck a utility crew from National Grid, causing serious injuries to one of the workers. The crew members were immediately transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Following the initial crash, the suspect commandeered a police cruiser and fled the scene. However, he later crashed the stolen vehicle, leading to a foot pursuit by law enforcement officers. The suspect was subsequently apprehended, but his name has not been released as of yet.
